Absolutely incredible time here!! What a laugh me and the hubby had completely destroying everything in the rage room. We also had a go at the art throw which was a bit more relaxed but still brilliant (can't wait to get our canvases on the wall!). The staff here are absolutely wonderful - some of the most friendly and accommodating folk we've ever met. This is a must if you're visiting Newcastle - and it makes the well earned pint at the end of it all the more refreshing! (Some lovely bars close by!)
Great for getting out some pent up frustration. I don't think I left behind any recognisable items, so a job well done! Only thing I would bare in mind when going back again is to wear a face mask. It kicked up a lot of concrete dust from the floor which got in my nose and irritated my throat a bit. My son has asthma and he was quite wheezy afterwards. Just something to bear in mind, but I would totally go again! Maybe would take some personal items along to smash up too 💥🔨😈
It was incredible. My fiancé and I had a lot of fun throwing glass bottles, smashing plates, shattering glass and using all sorts of tools on a computer box. Sophie and Kim were sweet, responsive and helpful - they were always checking up on us and answered all our questions.
Absolutely loved it and would highly recommend. We did the wreck room and the art launch. The booking process is easy, all the info you need is on the site with supportive visuals. Helpful reminders of the upcoming event didn't feel too excessive. Kim & Sophie were great on the day, explained everything well, didn't feel under any time pressure but still did everything within our time frame. Very therapeutic smashing stuff up, we were dripping after 5mins! The art launch is just real fun and even a bit competitive (if you're that way inclined!). Recommendations/suggestions: -If you're doing the art launch and another activity book the art launch first so it can start drying as there isn't a mean to transport them (we were kindly given bin bags though). -Art launch, I think Smash space should either have a system where your balls rinse and return or you should get some test balls as it's hard to get the hang of it at first; we were still happy with what we created). -Additionally, it would be good to have an empty pot to make your own colours (you can do this with the pots provided but have to wait until your paint is finishing to have a spare pot) -Would deffo recommend buying extra smashables as we had smashed everything we could after 10mins lol! -Finally would recommend couples getting a joint canvas (and extra balls being provided) as it was good fun having our own canvas and a joint one. A great experience I would highly recommend and we will be returning again in the future to try out the escape room too!
We came in yesterday for my sons birthday and was very happy. We done the painting and rage room. Safety videos and all safety equipment included and they had things to freshen up afterwards.r2zsaThe staff were really friendly and seemed to enjoy working there. Will definitely be back.
